Senior researcher - social scientist, expert in stakeholder participation procedures & financial management

Mrs. Patricia Gourgoura is a Sociologist with postgraduate studies in International Marketing Management.

She has a wide experience in environmental projects’ management as also in designing and implementing environmental awareness raising campaigns and stakeholders’ involvement activities through development of consultation and participatory procedures.

She has participated in many international and national projects as Project Manager, Financial and Dissemination Officer (HORIZON, H2020,LIFE, FP7,INTERREG,etc.).

Since 2011 she works in Laboratory of Water Resources Management of School of Civil Engineering of NTUA, as a Researcher with key objectives the design and implementation of consultation and public participation procedures with key stakeholders and end users.

She also participates in the design of tools supporting decision making procedures (knowledge bases, interfaces, applications, platforms) aiming to their exploitation by end users and local authorities or Water Utilities.

Additionally she is an expert in Financial Monitoring of EU-funded projects and grants and she is in charge for the financial management of the Urban Water Management & Hydroinformatics Group.
